An Actual Conversation...

I had this conversation with my youngest daughter (six, almost seven) the other day:

Me: HEY, You!!

She: Hey, Mommy!

Me: Ya know what?

She: What?

Me: You're WICKED CUTE!!

She: (casually) Yeah, I know.

Me: (incredulously) You DO?! HOW do you know that?!

She: Because you tell me all the time.

Me: Well, whaddya know! Cute, AND smart!
